Cost
The family cost will be $175. The total cost of camp is $313 per scout. This includes the meal plan. All but a small portion of the scout budget is available to cover $138 of that portion, leaving $175 as the family portion. Use the regular donation envelopes with "Maple Dell" as the "other" category. It is important that you use the envelopes, instead of contributing online. (I think.)
Uniforms
Don't buy a uniform. One year Brother Muhlestein went all out to receive the "Wakara Arrow," which is awarded to the troop showing the most scout spirit during the week. Everyone had a spiffy uniform from shirt, neckerchief, belt and socks. The troop put a lot of effort into winning the award - and to their credit they did.
That isn't going to be us this year. Don't buy a uniform. We may have coordinated t-shirts. Maybe.
Health Form
Everyone attending camp will need parts A and B of a health form completed and signed by a physician. Those staying longer than 72 hours also need to complete part C. You can get the health form here.
